I've been teaching high school English forever.
The Students were given the assignment to write an essay about childhood obesity.  They needed to decide if it was the fault of the parents, the food companies or the children themselves and defend their position.
This is probably my favorite paper that I've ever collected.
Go ahead and try to read.  It took me a long time to figure it out.

I am hysterical with both laughter, paranoia, and shame. This is written by someone above the eighth grade. This child (under 21?), their own capacities and motivation notwithstanding, has been ill-served by everyone. I'm not laying blame at your feet, brother; you're just a cog in a wheel within a wheel that left the tracks a long time ago.
And please, share what you know about "gelfy guises."
I'm feeling a need to arm myself. Thanks for sharing.

How can a person correctly spell "experience, personal, and conclusion," without being able to spell "they?"
